One of the most basic ways to take care of your girl’s hair is to wash it regularly. Clean hair are healthy hair and you must make it a point to give a thorough wash with shampoo and conditioner atleast twice a week, depending upon hair nature and quality. If your little daughter is into sports or picks dust and dirt on her hair often, then wash it more often.
Oiling and Conditioning
Besides shampooing, it is very important to provide the right nourishment by oiling the hair every now and then. Use good natural oil like coconut oil, olive oil, jasmine oil etc. for the best shine and hair growth. Also, it is important to condition the hair using either a natural or homemade conditioner or a good quality product which adds moisture and shine.
Another way to care for your little girl’s hair is to detangle it every day, as per requirement. Use a wide toothed comb to do so and make sure that you start with the ends of the hair. Detangling must be done carefully and you must make sure that you don’t hurt her or break a lot of hair. Your girl must go to bed only with detangled and tied hair at night.
Proper Hair Drying
If she has long hair, then they may take longer to dry but make sure you make her develop a habit of proper drying after every wash. Air drying is the least damaging way to dry her hair but if you are in a hurry, you can use towel drying or blow drying as well, but not often.
Diet and Nutrition
Diet and nutrition is an important part of the hair care regime for your little girl and make sure you give her a balanced diet full of fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, water and other nutrients.
