You can get rid of itchy scalp by following some easy and natural remedies as given below:
1. Cleansing and Moisturizing the Scalp
Make a routine to wash your hair regularly or every alternative day. Make sure you dry your hairs thoroughly before you step out otherwise damp hair may accelerate drying action that results in itchy scalp.
Moisturize your hair every day. Use a mild shampoo followed by a good conditioner. Make sure your shampoo does not contain alcohol as it works as a drying agent.
2. Regular Brushing
Gently comb your hair twice or thrice daily. A clean brush should be used.
3. Keep yourself Hydrated and say no to Alcohol
Drink plenty of water everyday. Intake of fruit juice, milk, butter milk also keep you hydrated while providing essential nutrients. Excessive intake of tea, coffee, sugar and alcohol can affect your biological system and may leave you dehydrated.

6. Apple cider vinegar
Mix apple cider vinegar with water and apply on your scalp and let it dry for twenty minutes. Then thoroughly rinse your hair. Yeast and virus are killed by its anti-inflammation property and given relief from itchy scalp.
7. Baking Soda
Baking soda exfoliates your scalp and gives you relief from itchy scalp. Mix baking soda and water to make a thick paste. Then apply directly on hair and rinse after 20 minutes.
8. Stress Management
Practice yoga, meditation on regular basis to reduce stress. These all have a sedative effect on your body and help to soothe your mind and reduces the itchy effect on the scalp.
